On August 31, in Kherson there started the second session of the 4-th Cleaner Production Program. This Norwegian — Ukrainian project became a reality with the assistance of the Norwegian Association of Chartered Engineers TEKNA, Kherson Municipal Executive Committee, Kherson Regional State Administration and Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On June 01, 2010, President of the Kherson CCI Mrs. Viktoria Ostroumova signed Cooperation Agreements between the Kherson Chamber of Commerce and Industry and two Russian regional Chambers from Piatigorsk and Penza.

In October 2006, the Cooperation Agreement between the Kherson CCI and CCI Prahova was signed. Visit of Romanian businessmen to Kherson, which occurred on September 26-27, 2007, is one of the first important results of the mutual work within this document.

The Fair of Regions and Tourist Products, which started October 24, 2007 and continued for 4 days, gathered almost the whole world. The representatives of more than 200 countries arrived to Poznan, Poland, to attend the traditional, prestigious «TOUR SALON» fair.

On October 30, 2007 the energy saving, cleaner production and environmental awareness program started in Kherson. The project is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
